If you enjoyed reading Crossing Live, there’s more background to the story on this Crossing Live Extras page.
Crossing Live is set in Brisbane in 1990. Queensland’s capital city has changed a lot in the last 25 years, but most of the locations referred to in the novel are still pretty much as they were in Roland’s day. In Crossing Live, Roland Kendall is responsible for running a viewer treasure hunt competition at the television station he works for. Roland isn’t the first person to run a competition like this. In Roland Kendall’s buried treasure I’ve described a few other competitions where the gold prize has been hidden underground.
